Braces used for Clubfoot: A new era!

One of the largest congenital disabilities that babies are born with are called Congenital Talipes Equinovarus or commonly know as Clubfoot. This condition requires the use of braces for more than just a number years.

New designs in the bracing industry is showing huge potential to address various old bracing problems such as comfort levels, unknown effects to other body parts not affected by Talipes and improved outcomes. There is especially two new brace designs that shows great promise regarding patient outcomes and overall improved comfort levels.

The DTKAFO by Cunningham Prosthetics in the USA and the ADM brace by C-Pro Direct in the UK.
